As many of you have noticed I've been trying new ways to present an image. Below shows the 2 images I used to create the last image. The 2nd is my image & the 1st I snagged off the internet to create a grunge effect. My final image is formed using layers & blending modes in Photoshop.

Marie, Thanks so much for the instruction...I can't wait to try this on some of my photos. I love the work you're doing! Happy Valentine's Day...and thanks for the 'gift.' ~Vicki
Very nice explanation of what you did. I still like the original better, but that is only my opinion. You have done a great job with the presentation, and have really added to the mood and feel of the scene.
I love both images Marie, they're really beautiful! Thanks for explaining how it's done. Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
I like the first on the morning sun pictures too, all you need to imagine is just walking there, wonderful. In these I love the snow. Quite a contrast in the seasons. They're beautiful Marie as always. Rache

I like the way you presented the transition so clearly Marie. I knew people would be impressed with the process. Nice work! mark
